KarmexaHR (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides HR, payroll, and workforce management software to businesses (“Customers”) and their employees (“Users”). This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it's handled.
Data We Collect
- Location — GPS coordinates for attendance clock-in, where enabled by your employer. Not shared with third parties.
- Camera / biometric data — face recognition for selfie attendance, where enabled. Not shared with third parties.
- Name & email — used for account creation, login, and payslip delivery.
- Financial information — salary, bank, and tax details required to run payroll. Encrypted at rest and in transit.
- Documents & photos — ID proofs, certificates, contracts, and profile photos you or your employer upload.
Data We Do Not Collect
We do not access your device contacts, read messages outside the in-app chat feature, or track browsing history outside the KarmexaHR application.
How Data Is Used
Data is used solely to provide the service to the Customer that employs or engages you: running payroll, tracking attendance and leave, managing recruitment, and related HR functions. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Data Storage & Security
Data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access is restricted by role-based permissions within each Customer's account.
Data Retention & Deletion
Data is retained for as long as your employer's account is active, plus any period required by Indian statutory record-keeping requirements (e.g., payroll and compliance records). You can request deletion by contacting hello@karmexahr.com; deletion is subject to your employer's data retention obligations under applicable law.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting your employer's HR administrator or hello@karmexahr.com.
